There seems to be a tangible energy about the tree which makes it a particularly exciting place to work. I love the fact that my comments, questions and suggestions are actually listened to, and that I have some decision-making power that began on day one – even though, at the time, I was the least senior member of the team.
I started at the tree in a freelance copywriting capacity, but following a few chats over coffee and one particularly delicious breakfast, it became apparent that I’d be working at the tree full-time. Result. I was taken on as the tree’s first Content Marketing Exec., making me general busy body relating to all things social media and content.
As the tree’s expanded, I’ve been given more responsibility, and I’m starting to develop some project management and client relations skills. Ultimately, when the tree decides it’s time to expand to another country, I want to be at the helm. New York or Berlin (please and thanks, guys!).
