McDonald’s clown-like red, white and yellow packaging is in for a huge change. The chain has revamped their bags and cups with bold, colourful lettering and an updated version of their iconic Golden Arches.
It is McDonald’s first global packaging overhaul in three years in an attempt to become a more “modern and progressive burger company.”
The renovation has been in the works since 2014. Matt Biespiel, McDonald's senior director-global brand development, gives credit for what he calls the new "DynamicDesign" to a team that included designers from seven different agencies.
