Bringing home the bacon with Porky's

Bringing home the bacon with Porky's

US barbecue is big business. From powerful burgers to sumptuous ribs and melt in the mouth meats, the UK just can’t get enough.

Five years ago, few people had even heard of pulled pork. Fast-forward to today and US barbecue cuisine has grown into a £68m industry in the UK. You can even buy pulled pork packets of Walkers.

Porky’s is one of the UK’s only true, traditional Memphis barbecue brands. With three restaurants open across London, and new venues to open in Shoreditch, Camden, and Bankside, Porky’s are on a meat mission to feed our fascination with barbecue.

The barbecue is a staple of American cuisine as well as being a firm favourite with the tree team, so you may have to forgive our giddy squeals of excitement as Porky’s choose us to manage their marketing.

We’ll be working with Porky’s to build both their on- and offline marketing, spicing things up on the social sphere as the brand expands.

It isn’t often you get the chance to work with a big brand in the making at such an early stage. There is so much potential for Porky’s to dominate the UK Barbecue scene, and just as much scope for some fun, cheeky and exciting marketing.

“We are very excited about working with the tree. They seem like a great agency that has its finger on the pulse & have really tuned into our way of thinking!”  – Simon Brigg, Managing Director and Founder of Porky’s

With forecasts set to top £52bn, the UK restaurant and dining-out industry is predicted to grow massively within the next few years. The UK Leisure industry is a key sector of focus for the tree and working with Porky’s is an exciting opportunity as we expand out client portfolio and experience working with restaurants, hotels and other leisure brands both in the UK and abroad.
