Who are we looking for? 

We are looking for our next ‘Social Media Rising Star’ to work across 3-4 key client accounts full-time.  

As a Social Community Manager, your role will operate with significant autonomy and responsibility while reporting into our Head Of Social & Content.

You’ll be given fantastic on-the-job traininglearning how to use some of the most advanced social media tech on the market whilst honing your creative skills to deliver exciting content daily.  

Your key tasks will include managing the audience base for our clients across FacebookTwitterInstagramYouTube, Tik Tok and other niche communities. 

Day-to-day, you’ll be responding to enquiries sent in through social media for all clients, engaging with the communities, monitoring and listening to relevant social activity and proactively creating conversations with the audience network 

Influencer management and outreach is key to the role, you will act as a digital networker and cultivate relationships with a variety of influencers from micro to macro and beyond.  

When possible, you’ll attend events to drive community management opportunities for the tree and push our brands to beyond their extended networks.  

To be considered for this role, you’ll have bags of personality, a solid grasp of what counts as a human conversation between the brand and audience and have a basic knowledge of working on social media for multiple brands.   

The appointed candidate will get hands on access to big and small brands alike, whist finding a voice within an agency that believes in collaboration and teamworkAt the tree, we aim to be ‘interesting and interested!’ – as should you!

Key responsibilities would cover: 

  • Community management: creating reactive and proactive messages for brands and their audiences 

  • Proactively searching for new opportunities on social and creating a structure for conversations 

  • Social media monitoring for relevant stories and opportunities. 

  • Helping with the development of campaigns and content themes. 

  • Keeping up to date on media stories and trends. 

  • Research on social media channels and monitoring on behalf of clients for issues and opportunities. 

  • Inputting into the weekly reporting of activity, and monthly campaign overview. 

  • Attending meetings and briefings where appropriate. 

  • Aiding in the Development of solid social media strategies internally for lead generation and engagement. 

  • Managing the agency’s own social media channels. 

Key skills to include: 

  • The successful candidate will have a relevant degree/ education, but most importantly, convey passion and enthusiasm & a can-do attitude. 

  • Excellent communication skills – written and verbal – are a must! 

  • Excellent copywriting skills are a must! 

  • Experience of filming and editing short form video content for social media. 

  • Extremely high attention to detail. 

  • Enthusiasm for ever-evolving social media trends, and the digital marketing landscape at large. 

  • Professional and flexible project management skills, working individually as well as part of a team. 

  • The ability to think differently and apply ideas to a wide variety of situations.
