It’s already September 2018. We point this out because time sometimes has a habit of sneaking up on us. Every so often it’s good to take a moment to stop and reflect on all we’ve achieved and how far we’ve come – as well as how far we have left to go.
In the last year, we were thrilled to receive Best Small Agency at the UK Social Media Awards and Best Small Agency at the UK Content Awards. On top of this, we’ve started working with some amazing companies including Hays Recruitment, Just Eat, Northumbria University and Rescue Remedy.
We are now getting set for another exhilarating phase of development and we will be reinvesting heavily in our team and infrastructure to attract more exciting projects and talent this year.
Another area that we’re focusing on is refreshing our leadership structure to drive our vision of diversification and growth.
To achieve this, we are adjusting to facilitate a group structure, exploring new regions and spinning-off an exciting new AI content management platform, the root, which is set for first-phase funding early this winter.
Leadership changes to take immediate effect:
- Leading the newly emerging group structure, FSB Young Entrepreneur of the Year and founder Daniel Andrews moves to become chief executive officer. His mission is to drive the business forward in line with the company’s core principles of being reputable, technological, commercial, and ethical.
- Having helped drive the tree’s ambitious growth plans since it was incorporated, current head of content and partner, Edward Fraser, will become managing director. His impressive career, directing international content strategies for some of the world’s biggest brands, will see him spearhead the next period of development for the agency.
- Former Mirror Group and Zinc Communications financial director, Derek Morren, joins the fold to support this new and exciting chapter. Derek will be working alongside the board in his capacity as a financial director to support the sourcing of potential acquisitions and drive key funding efforts across the group.
We cannot wait to see what the next 12 months – and beyond – hold. With so many exciting developments on the horizon and no end in sight, we invite you to watch this space as the tree continues to flourish!
