The people. Apart from the fact that they pronounce my name wrong (I don’t actually mind, but it’s phonetically [she-lan], not [she-ln]). I knew that I was doing the right thing from the very first moment I met the team. Especially after the third time we met and drank a bottle of Sauvignon together. Everybody’s so welcoming. You’re guaranteed to be your true self 99.9% of the time.
It all began in 2009 when I was a deli girl at the local Waitrose. I used to gut, skin and fillet fish whilst nursing a hangover - I learnt a lot from that.
I read Journalism at university, which is where my pride and joy was born - Aubergine. It’s a cultural food magazine I produced on my own. I’m sure you’d like to see it but there’s only one copy in the world right now, so you’ll have to ask me if you want to see it.
I’ve worked as a journalist, as well as a PR and digital marketing executive. I’m a social media obsessive, both personally and strategically for clients – so it’ll be great to bring this to the party.
Previous projects include: Rugby World Cup x Mischief Superyacht, LC:M and Pretty Green, children’s safety app Azoomee, and promoting a four-day music event Summer Sessions, which featured All Saints as the headliners!
I’m so excited to give my all, and then some, to the tree, their outlook is exciting and the team's dedication and devotion to making every aspect of the business a success is something I haven’t seen before.
Be interesting and interested. That's what we ask of our staff.
The opportunity to build a team and service clients using your own ideas is exciting, isn’t it?
No one would mind me saying that this is a diverse and unique mix of individuals.
...it’s a young, exciting organisation that’s ready to blossom
My interests lie in more than marketing. It's people and culture that fuel my ideas.
Trying to overcome my crisp addiction one day at a time.
Design, Design, Design!!!
A mind is like a parachute – it doesn't work if it's not open!
You have to be tech sharp in marketing. We're developing our own products which is great.
Filming the moving world can generate masses of emotion for viewers
Why not try and have some fun with work, fancy a beer?
Their passion for what they do is beyond infectious and is instantly inspiring.
There is such a collaborative nature working here.
There’s a brilliant atmosphere here, and you can see that reflected in the quality of work.
From my very first interview, I had a great feeling about the tree.
